How to start an Instagram live video in two easy steps (in 2020)
Did you know that live videos are a great way to connect with your followers in real time for up to one hour at a time!
Also, what's cool about live videos is that once you're done, they're gone forever from the app (unless you save and re-upload…. we'll talk about this later on!) You can have ease of mind that if you screwed up it's nothing to think twice about.
To start a live video from inside the Instagram mobile app:
Tap the camera in the top left of the feed (or you can swipe right from anywhere in the feed)
Next, scroll to the Live at the bottom of the screen, then click the red broadcast button.
You're live!
The number of current viewers will be at the top of the screen, and their comments will scroll at the bottom.
You can add a comment by tapping Comment at the bottom of the screen. You can also pin a comment so viewers can see it more easily throughout your live broadcast.
To end your Live, tap End in the top right then confirm.
From there, you can tap the download arrow in the top left to save your
live broadcast to your camera roll. Now, you can re-upload it to IG TV.
